Amazon mechanical turk or in short mturk is a crowdsourcing website which uses human intelligence to complete the tasks and pays for it. It is a great site to earn easy money online.

To earn from mturk, one must need to sign up as a worker. This site has no referral system. So, just go to www.mturk.com and register there. Work honestly and earn of your own. Mturk is a work from home kind of site. As a worker, you can work for others and earn money by just sitting in front of your computer and do some easy work.

Once you register, check out "your account" page. You will be able to get the statistics of everything that you will do for the site, like the number of hits submitted, number of hits accepted,number of hits rejected,number of hits returned, bonuses, total earnings, earnings subdivided for each day you have worked etc.

HITs here are the Human interaction tasks. You can click on the HITs tab to see the available hits to you. Just click on any hit to see its description. If you fell that you can do that job then click on "View a hit in this group" on the right side. For each hit, the amount and time are clearly written. After viewing the hit if you fell, you cannot do that, then you can easily go back. Else you can accept the hit by clicking in the "accept" button. Even after accepting the hit, if you fell at any point that you will not be able to do that, then click on "return" button. If while working on the hit, the time expires then you will not be able to work on that hit anymore.

After you have done what was asked to do in the hit, click on the "Submit" button. After the hits requester reviews your task and find it complete according o his/her guideline, you will be paid. You can easily see your status of you submitted tasks by clicking on the date on "your account" page.

If any of your hit is rejected, then your percentage of hits approved will decrease. Every hit has a specified percentage limit below which a worker will not be able to accept that hit. So, be careful while doing each hit.

Now,coming to the payment options. Mturk does not support the paypal or alertpay online payment options. It has three paym ent options:

1) Transfer your earnings to your U.S bank account.

2) Transfer your earnings to your amazon.com gift certificate balance.

3) Withdraw your earnings in Indian Rupees.

As I am an Indian, I prefer the third option. This is the only site I have come across which pays by a special method for Indians. So, for Indians, this is a great site to earn. The processing fee for the check is $4. You need to verify yourself and you address by sending a scanned copy of your identity proof. The options are there on the site. I has sent a scanned copy of my PAN card. I was verified within two weeks. After that I had withdrawn my first payment from this site. I got the check within a month and cashed it out. I was so excited when I received my check. From that time I have received many checks from this site. I generally withdraw money when my balance is more than $50.

Some tips to earn more money in mturk:
1. Always try to work on those hits which you think will get approved. Otherwise your acceptance rate may go down.
2. Whenever you need some help to get a clear view of what to do in a particular hit, you can contact the requestor.
